Toasting to the New Year

2012 is here, and no celebration would be complete without a bit of bubbly. We personally like to add a little oomph to the traditional sparkling drink by mixing our champagne with other spirits and fruits. One absolute favorite is a Blood Orange French 75. Bon Appétit has a simple recipe that requires the following ingredients for a serving of 12– 3 blood oranges, 1 1/2 cups gin, 2 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp angostura bitters and 2 750-ml bottles of chilled champagne. To see the full recipe visit Bon Appétit.
