BB cream may just be the answer to our morning makeup prayers. A mash up of primer, moisturizer, foundation, concealer and SPF, BB cream is the latest beauty product sweeping the market. The cream was originally formulated in Germany in 1967 for dermatologists to help laser surgery patients protect and refine highly sensitive skin, while also providing a light coverage for post-laser scars and blemishes. By all accounts, the BB cream does appear to live up to the hype of leaving skin looking more glowing, smoother and even-toned. With all the various products in stores, we hopped over to VitalJuice to see their recommendations on which BB creams are best:
Left to Right: Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Cream made with 50 percent water is great for oily and acne-prone skin, $42; Boscia BB Cream is ideal for sensitive skin as it packs beta-glucan and abyssine to shield skin, $38; Estée Lauder Daywear Antioxidant BB Cream scientifically fights free radical damage for up to 8 hours of anti-aging protection $38; Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream is great for all skin types and smells fresh $12.99.
