DIY: Denim Cutoffs Perfect for Spring

Creating a killer pair of denim cutoffs for spring can be done in less than 5 minutes as long as you have the right tools and a quick video tutorial courtesy of FabSugar. To start with, grab a pair of jeans that run large or are men’s jeans so it rests a little lower on the hips, then take scissors, measuring tape and a marking pencil. Turn the jeans inside out to avoid cutting the pockets. Take your measuring tape and measure 3 to 4 inches from the rise. Next, use your marking pencil to draw a dotted curved line on one side. Use your scissors to cut across the line and then fold your jeans in half. Trace the first side onto the second and cut. Lastly, fray the ends either by pulling the fibers by hand or throwing the jeans in the wash. Such a simple and budget-friendly way to make use of your old jeans!
