Nothing Lady Gaga does is ever ordinary, so why should her soon-to-be launched perfume be any different? Set to release globally in late August, the singer’s new Fame fragrance is black in the bottle but sprays on clear. This is the first-ever black eau de parfum and is an allusion to, “The dark side of fame, the price of fame and the narcissism of fame,” according to Steve Mormoris, senior vice president of global marketing for Coty Beauty.
Despite initial rumors that the perfume would smell like blood and bodily fluids, we are relieved to see that is not the case, as in reality the fragrance features notes of belladonna, incense, saffron, honey, apricot nectar, crushed tiger orchid and jasmine sambac.
