A Classic Twist on the French Mani

There is nothing more timeless than a simple French manicure, but even classic things can be spiced up from time to time. That is why we are having a serious love affair with The Beauty Department’s dotted spin on the beloved nail treatment. To start with, paint a white French tip and let dry. Then, take a dotting tool (you can make your own using this tutorial) and paint a row of 5 dots, spacing each one 1/8 inch apart, a little under the French tip line. Next, go between the dotted and tip lines and make a row of four dots, centering the new row between the first one created. Let dry before adding a coat of sheer pink color. Finish with a fast drying top coat and voilá! A French mani so chic you won’t be able to stop saying “Oui Oui!”
