It’s no secret that sugar can be an harmful substance. However, despite best efforts, cravings for the ingredient inevitably manage to come up. In a quest to go beyond the typical cold turkey advice, MindBodyGreen talked with yoga star Tara Stiles, who said that the peaceful activity is the perfect cure for the common sugar yearning. “Cravings and addictions have to do with not being in the present moment, and often not wanting to be,” said Stiles to the blog. “Yoga is all about being in the present moment and paying attention to what is going on with you, right now.” Stiles recommends doing the four pose yoga sequence, pictured below, designed to beat cravings.
