The Best Places To Donate Clothes

The start of a new year is the perfect time to say goodbye to those old items in your closet and make way for recently gifted and purchased goods. One of the best ways to keep the giving spirit of the holidays alive is by donating your used stuff to those in need. Elle magazine has put together a fantastic list of places to give, recycle or swap pieces you no longer need that go beyond the popular Goodwill and Salvation Army centers. Clothes4Souls has locations across the U.S. that gather gently used duds and supplies them to impoverished countries around the world. The Chicago-based group The Bridge To Success takes in office-style clothes, as well as unused cosmetics and toiletries, to provide much needed career assistance to men and women. To seem more organizations, visit Elle.
