John Galliano Adds His Touch to Oscar de la Renta’s Fall 2013 Collection

In an altogether controversial move, Oscar de la Renta tapped John Galliano to add his influence to the brand’s Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week. At the runway event, which marked de la Renta’s 50th anniversary to the fashion scene, Galliano’s touch could be felt particularly in the beauty and accessories, such as the slicked-back hair and cloche-style hats. De la Renta told New York Magazine recently, “I think John is one of the most talented men I’ve ever met. I like him very much. […] I would love for him to stay. Will he? I cannot tell you that today. Because we haven’t gone that far in really discussing it.” See pieces from the ODLR Fall ’13 collection below.
