Great Substitutions to Make Any Recipe Vegan

Going vegan can be challenging but, with patience and the right ingredients, this switch can be well worth it as vegans typically consume less fat and calories than their meat-eating counterparts. MindBodyGreen recently put together a great list of egg, protein, dairy and oil substitutions that can take any dish and make it vegan. Some great replacements include Silken tofu and flaxseed whipped in water for eggs, Daiya cheese and coconut milk for dairy, and seitan and tempeh for meat.
