The call of winter has us spending more hours in the comfort of home, so we turned to W magazine for interior inspiration. The glossy toured designer Alexander Wang’s lush New York City apartment a few years ago, and the black-and-white aesthetic is still as relevant as it was then. A black Karl Springer coffee table takes up residence in the 2,200-square-feet space along with black Serge Mouille floor lamps, zebra rugs and a black menagerie. “Having lived in New York, where you’re always out and your friends are always out because no one has enough space to entertain, I imagined an apartment where I could have my friends over and on the weekend not have to leave because I feel claustrophobic,” says Wang. Sounds like the perfect cold-weather plan. (W Magazine)
